摘要：The invention relates to a method for operating a wheel suspension system (8, 10) of a motor vehicle (2), comprising a damper, via which a wheel (2) is connected to a chassis (12) of the motor vehicle (2), and comprising an electrical engine associated with the damper, wherein an area of ground (28) to be driven on by the motor vehicle (2) is detected using at least one sensor (26) for detecting an environment of the motor vehicle (2), said area of ground (28) to be driven on being checked for obstacles (32, 34, 36), wherein an unevenness of the ground is identified as an obstacle (32, 34, 36), if a value of at least one measurement of the unevenness differs from a threshold value by a tolerance value, wherein a value for an amount of electrical energy is predicted for the identified obstacle (32, 34, 36), said amount being converted from mechanical energy by the electrical motor operating as a generator, if a damping ratio is adjusted using a determined recuperation value for the damper when driving on the identified obstacle (32, 34, 36), wherein a driving comfort value is predicted for the identified obstacle (32, 34, 36), which occurs if the damping ratio is adjusted using the recuperation value for the damper when driving on the identified obstacle (32, 34, 36), wherein a value for a decision criterion is determined which depends on the value for the amount of electrical energy converted from mechanical energy, and on the value for the driving comfort for the adjusted recuperation value for the damping ratio of the damper, wherein the identified obstacle (32, 34, 36) is driven over using the adjusted recuperation value for the damping ratio of the damper, if the value for the decision criterion has a desired value provided for this purpose.
