摘要：The present invention relates to a display device and a method for driving the same. A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a display panel which includes data lines, scan lines, and sub pixels which are arranged with a matrix shape in the intersection region of the data lines and the scan lines; source driver ICs which output data voltages to the data lines; a demultiplexer which distributes the data voltages of an i-th output channel to p data lines, by using p demux switches (p is a positive integer of two or more) connected to the i-th (i is a positive integer) output channel of the source driver; and a timing control part which adjusts at least one pulse width among the p demux control signals which control the p demux switch according to whether the digital video data of a k-th (k is a positive integer) horizontal line corresponds to a specific image pattern.
