摘要:A battery cell, a battery and a method for the manufacture of a battery cell is described. The battery cell comprises a positive electrode and a negative electrode separated by at least one polymer film. According to the present invention, an intrinsic overcharge protection is provided for the battery cell, which is created by arranging, between the negative electrode and the at least one polymer film, a P-doped and electrically semi-conducting and ion conducting film, and an N-doped and electrically semi-conducting and ion conducting film. Additionally, the at least one polymer film is electrically conducting and has an ion conducting electrolyte distributed within itself. At the manufacture of the battery cell, the positive electrode is joined with the at least one polymer film. These layers are joined also with the N-doped electrically semi-conducting and ion conducting film. These layers are joined with the P-doped electrically semi-conducting and ion conducting film. These layers are joined with the negative electrode.
