摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly evaluate translation quality with respect to a translation result improved in translation accuracy by performing the abbreviation complementation of a pronoun.SOLUTION: A word division section 2 divides each of a machine translation character string as a character string in target language obtained by performing the machine translation of a character string in translation source language and a reference translation character string as a character string in target language obtained by correctly translating the character string in translation source language into word units. A pronoun F value calculation section 4 counts the number of appearance of each pronoun included in a preliminarily searched pronoun list in target language on the basis of the division result of the machine translation character string, and counts the number of appearance of each pronoun included in the pronoun list on the basis of the division result of the reference translation character string, and calculates a reproduction rate with respect to the pronoun and an adaptation rate with respect to the pronoun on the basis of the counted number of appearance of each pronoun in the machine translation character string and the counted number of appearance of each pronoun in the reference translation character string, and calculates an F value with respect to the pronoun as a quality score on the basis of the calculated reproduction rate and adaptation rate.
