摘要：A power transmission device which transmits power between a first member and a second member, the first member has a hollow portion, the first member and the second member are fitted to each other by interference fitting by setting the external diameter of the second member so as to have a slightly larger size than the internal diameter of the hollow portion of the first member, and the surface of at least one of an inner periphery of the hollow portion of the first member and an outer periphery of the second member is subjected to a surface treatment in which slipping occurs when an excessive torque exceeding a predetermined value is applied, and the slipping stops and the original torque transmission to be performed in the power transmission device is performed again between the first member and the second member when the excessive torque is eliminated.
