摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light from leaking from positioning protrusions of a light guide plate, while strength of the same is maintained.SOLUTION: A backlight device 24 is provided with a light guide plate 20, a chassis 22 having LEDs 28 arranged in opposition to an incident face 20a of the light guide plate 20, a bottom plate 22a, and side plates 22b, 22c, 22d, positioning protrusions 20s of a triangular prism shape protruded from end faces of the light guide plate 20 toward side plate 22d sides with each apex angle 20t extended along a thickness direction of the light guide plate 20 so as to oppose to the side plate 22d, with an apex angle of 90° and each two rising angles of 45° in plan view, and positioning depressions 22s fitted at sites opposed to the positioning protrusions 20s of the side plate, enabled to be insertion-coupled with the positioning protrusions 20s, and positioning the light guide plate 20 inside the chassis 22 by being insertion-coupled with the positioning protrusions 20s.
