摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an evaluation value generation device which allow for generation of an AE evaluation value, an AWB evaluation value, and an AF evaluation value from other than the image data input in real time, without increasing the circuit scale significantly.SOLUTION: The imaging device includes an image data interface outputting image data corresponding to a pixel signal input from a solid state imaging device as first image data, an image data reading unit for reading the image data stored in a storage unit and outputting it as second image data, an evaluation value generation unit generating an evaluation value based on the image data, an image data selection unit for selecting any one of the image data based on the first image data or the image data based on the second image data, as the image data being input to the evaluation value generation unit, and an image data writing unit for storing the image data based on the first image data in the storage unit.
