摘要：A power cable comprising three insulated power conductors helically stranded together, at least two grounding conductors located in the outer interstices between the power conductors and an extensible ground check conductor also located in the interstices between the power conductors or at the center. The ground check conductor includes a plurality of metallic wire strands helically wound together in a short lay in the same direction of lay, and extensible non-metallic materials separating the metallic wire strands for substantially eliminating direct friction between the groups of metallic wire strands during flexing and twisting of the cable.
