摘要:The present invention relates to a multifunctional television using a human body sensor, comprising a tuner and intermediate frequency processing unit (20) which selects a television signal constituted by the audio and a video signal received from an antenna (10), amplifies the intermediate frequency of the received signal, and outputs the amplified signal; an audio-processing unit (30) which amplifies the audio signal output by the tuner and intermediate frequency processing unit (20) and outputs the amplified signal to an audio output unit (31); a video-processing unit (40) which amplifies and performs a color signal process on the video signal output by the tuner and intermediate frequency processing unit (20), and outputs the resulting signal to a video output unit (41); a direct current power unit (42) for supplying direct current power to the video-processing unit (40); a first microcomputer (50) which receives a signal pertaining to whether or not a human body has been sensed from a human body sensing unit (61) arranged at the front surface of the television, and generates a video reproduction or erase control signal; a first video power control unit (43) which receives the video reproduction or erase control signal from the first microcomputer (50), and supplies direct current power to the video-processing unit (40) or cuts off the supply of direct current power to the video-processing unit (40) in accordance with the control signal; an alternating current power unit (44) for supplying alternating current power to the video output unit (41); and a second video power control unit (45) which receives the video reproduction or erase control signal from the first microcomputer (50), and supplies alternating current power to the video output unit (41) or cuts off the supply of alternating current power to the video output unit (41) in accordance with the control signal. The television of the present invention supplies power to the video-processing unit (40) and the video output unit (41) or cuts off the supply of power to the video-processing unit (40) and the video output unit (41) in accordance with the signal pertaining to whether or not a human body has been sensed output by the human body sensing unit (61), so as to switch between a television watching mode and a television listening mode.
