摘要:Commonly found rigs for drying dishes usually resemble rods, which are bent upwards or downwards to support upright placement of flat dishes. Such design requires additional flat space to allow other kinds of kitchenware, such as cups, or bowls. Contrary, a flat surface created by running straight parallel rods would all ow cups and non- standard format kitchenware, but would not support flat dishes and small dishes - they would slip through the rods if placed vertically. The proposed improvement extends use of space, compared to that of rigs commonly found on the market. It is a two-layer rig. The top layer is a flat surface created b y parallel straight rods with a couple of rods running perpendicular to the general direction; the bottom layer is a similar flat surface with the perpendicular rods running much closer to each other. This scheme will allow cups, glasses, and non-standard kitchenware be placed on the flat surface. It will also allow vertical placement of flat dishes, as the bottom layer would support them. In addition, such design can easily be fixed in different areas of the kitchen, like walls or below flat horizontal surfaces.
