摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that the time required to print out the 1st page may be shortened. SOLUTION: As for the device provided with a photoreceptor drum 13 and a transfer roller 21 which comes into contact with the photoreceptor drum 13 so as to transfer a toner image formed on the photoreceptor drum 13 to a paper, and for applying a test voltage on the transfer roller 21 and deciding a transfer voltage based on a current value obtained at applying the test voltage, the test voltage is applied on the transfer roller 21 at every constant interval of time at a standby time, and the current value obtained at applying the test voltage is stored in the current value holding part 12a of a printer controller 12. At the time of printing, an apply voltage optimum to the current value held in the current value holding part 12a is decided out of a table (1) or a table (2), and then, the decided transfer apply voltage is applied on the transfer roller 21.
