摘要:The invention relates to a method for reserving the resources of network elements in a data network. A data packet (3) is sent by a first terminal (4) to a second terminal (5) in the form of an echo requirement (1) via a data network path. Subsequently, the echo requirement (1) including the data packet (3) is returned by the second terminal (4) to the first terminal (4) in the form of an echo response. On the way from the first (4) to the second (5) or from the second (4) to the first terminal (5), the network elements (A, C, B) found on the data path perform a reservation of the resources thereof according to the content of the data packet (3) in a positive case and reject a reservation in a negative case.
