摘要：A system is disclosed wherein image data is classified in a first processor by comparison of image features with entries in a database having entries corresponding to image features. A record is built of classifying terms identifying image features and this record is utilised in a second processor in order to reconstruct the image from the record of classifying terms by utilising the same database. The second processor may be at a remote location, and the first processor may be configured to initially classify the whole image and subsequently identify and classify only changed features within the image in order to send a record of the changes to the second processor in order to update the model. Independent claims are included for a display apparatus and an image capture system which may be used in a teleconferencing system employing the coding method of the invention.
