摘要:The invention relates to a method for reducing signalling between a base station and a base station controller in a radio system comprising a base station (100) communicating with terminals within an area and a base station controller (102), the base station being adapted to receive and measure radio measurement data from active connections and to relay the radio measurement data to the base station controller. The invention is characterized by the base station being adapted to store measurement data and to compare the latest arrived successive measurement data, and upon detection of a significant change to relay the changed measurement data to the base station controller. This allows an increase in the number of radio connections transmitted in a signalling link, resulting in a reduced need for increasing capacity in the signalling link.
