摘要:PURPOSE: A method for compensating a vertical line alignment by using a lever sensor of a carriage is provided to improve printing quality and users' convenience by compensating errors generated when reciprocating of the carriage. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating a vertical line alignment by using a lever sensor of a carriage includes the steps of setting a position of a starting point(a) where the carriage starts to remove(S11), removing the carriage in A direction after driving a timer(S12,S13), determining whether a lever sensor attached to a side of the carriage senses a protrusion formed at a side of a base frame or not(S14), storing a time(a)(S15), setting a starting point(b) where the carriage starts to remove(S16), removing the carriage in B direction after driving a timer, determining whether the carriage stopped to remove if the lever sensor attached the carriage senses the protrusion of a base frame or not(S18-S20), storing a time(b)(S21), comparing times (a,b) together for controlling a printing position faster as (a-b) if the time(a) is larger than the time(b)(S23), and controlling the printing position slower as (a-b) if the time(a) is smaller than the time(b)(S24).
