摘要：PURPOSE: A method for operating a real time control protocol(RTCP) of a real time control(RTP) header in a video server is provided to transmit multi media data being sent initially without a loss. CONSTITUTION: A video server is initialized before multi media data are transmitted and played(S11). If a client requests the multi media data at the initial state, a session of the video server is opened(S12). In the open state, a video server transmits an application-defined RTCP packet byte(RTCP-APP) packet to the client for a synchronization source(SSRC) binding(S13). The RTCP-APP comprises two bits for indicating a version, one bit for indicating a padding appending or not, five bits for indicating a defined value for a binding in open state, eight bits for indicating a packet type, sixteen bits for indicating a length, thirty two bits for indicating an SSRC value for a binding, and thirty two bits for indicating a character string. An RTP session of a client and an SSRC binding of a server are performed(S14). If a play demand with respect to opened session is inputted on condition that a binding is completed, the mode is proceeded in play state(S15), and media data are loaded to the RTP packet having a bound SSRC and transmitted(S16).
