摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt system image forming device capable of obtaining a high-quality image without a defect in an image such as the missing and irregularities of a toner image caused by the deformation of an intermediate transfer belt, without changing tensile force exerted on the intermediate transfer belt. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer belt system image forming device is provided with a photoreceptor on which a toner image is formed by an electrophotographic process, in accordance with a bit of fixed image information and the intermediate transfer belt 20 to which the toner image is primarily transferred from the photoreceptor and the device is the one for secondarily transferring the toner image after being primarily transferred to the intermediate transfer belt, to a recording material, to obtain a permanent image of toner on the recording material. Further, the image forming device is provided with a measuring means 3 for measuring the shape of the surface of the belt 20 and a region control means 4 for controlling a region on the belt 20 to which the toner image is primarily transferred, based on the result of the measurement by the measuring means 3.
