摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window sash that makes indoor ventilation possible without requiring special operations by installing a ventilating device in the area of an upper cross rail of a window frame. SOLUTION: An upper cross rail 3 is formed as a hollow frame with an almost square cross-sectional contour. A ventilating device 4 is inserted into the cross rail 3 and fixed into place on its back by screws 8. An air inlet 9 is provided on the underside to suck steam, etc., that rises along a glass sash 2. An exhaust hole 10 is provided in the upper side of the front, and a gallery cover 11 is fixed into place by a screw 12. The cover 11 directs the flow of exhaust downwards and prevents gusts from the outside or winds and rain from blowing. The axis 13 of a fan 5 is set on the indoor side past the centerline of a case 7, and an air guide 14 is installed between the front and the fan 5. Thereby the flow of exhaust is guided to prevent backflow. Therefore, construction of a room that needs ventilation, such as a bathroom, can be facilitated.
