摘要:PURPOSE: To provide a suspension device capable of cancelling the lateral force generated by suspension geometry. CONSTITUTION: This suspension device 20 is provided with a compression coil spring 22 and a strut type damper 21 having a damper main body 30 and a rod 31. The coil spring 22 is provided between spring seats 40, 41, and it excites the rod 31 in the direction protruding from the damper main body 30. The position of the seat winding section 61 of the coil spring 21 is set so that a lower side effective winding end 60 is located within the range from 180 deg. to 270 deg. CCW when seen from above the coil spring 22 against the lateral force RG generated by the suspension geometry of the suspension device 20. When the seat winding section 61 has 0.75 turn, for example, the seat winding section 61 is fitted to the spring seat 40 so that the terminal 63 of the strand of the coil spring 22 is located within the range from 270 deg. to 360 deg. CCW against the lateral force RG.
