摘要：<p>An apparatus to change and recondition a coolant of a car having a radiator (10), an engine block and a top hose (12) connecting the radiator (10) and the engine block. The apparatus has a valve (14) to be received in the top hose (12). There is an inlet (18) and an outlet pipe (20) to be connected to the valve (14). A pump (22) is connected to the inlet pipe (18) and to the outlet pipe (20). There are tanks (28, 30), each having an inlet and an outlet, to receive coolant from the pump (22) and to supply coolant to the pump (22). These tanks (28, 30) also act to store reconditioned coolant and to receive coolant to be reconditioned. Valves (36, 38) direct coolant flow to one or other of the tanks (28, 30) as required. Using the apparatus coolant can be withdrawn from the radiator (10), pumped to a first or second tank (28, 30), reconditioned in that tank, passed to the other of the two tanks (28, 30) and then returned to the engine block.</p>
