摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a communication unit to more quickly and simply receive message information. SOLUTION: Receiving an request of an incoming call to the communication unit 1 from an opposite terminal being a caller side, an exchange of a line network 2 having a caller information notice function transmits caller information of the opposite terminal to the communication unit 1 with an incoming call signal. A caller information specification section 11 of the communication unit 1 compares the caller information arriving from the line network 2 with reference caller information stored in advance. When the caller information specification section 11 discriminates that the arrived caller information is coincident with the reference caller information, a communication control section 12 of the communication unit 1 allows a network control circuit 13 to automatically acquire a line independently of detection of an off-hook signal and brings a state of the communication unit 1 to a state to receive message information. Thus, the communication unit 1 can reach a message receiving state immediately after the arrival of an incoming call only from an opposite terminal that may transmit a message with high possibility.
