摘要:PURPOSE:To allow mass production of the read only optical recording medium on which information is recorded by the contrast of an optically high reflectivity and optically low reflectivity by forming an optically high reflection part of an org. material and providing recording patterns of an optically low reflection material by printing. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind selected from org. dyes are adopted to the essential component of the reflecting layer 3 of the optical recording medium 1 which is provided with the reflecting layer 3 having a reflection characteristic in an IR region on a substrate 2 and is provided with a printing layer 4 having an absorption characteristic in the IR region and is provided with a coating layer 5 having IR transmittability at need. The optical reflecting part 3 of the optical recording medium 1 is formed of the org. material in such a manner, by which the coating of the material with the simple method is enabled. The adaptation of the recording medium to the mass production is possible if the recording patterns are provided by printing the optically low reflecting material.
