摘要：An inverter stage is used in a starter circuit to supply a gas discharge lamp. The load (3) is coupled to the centre tappings of two series stages, one of which has a pair of transistors (1, 2) and the other a pair of capacitors (4, 5). Both pairs are connected to a positive voltage (UB) on one side and to ground on the other. As such the load lies in a bridge circuit. Coupled between the transistors, a diode (11) causes a voltage drop to occur. This ensures that one transistor turns on and the other off when a control signal is applied to a diode (8), capacitor (P) and resistor circuit (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - Ensures that transistors alternately switch on and off. Both are never conductive simultaneously.
