CONSTITUTION:Conditions such as part shapes and surface hardnesses are set in a computer 1. Indexes for evaluating the high frequency hardenability of steel material are set. Then, heat treating conditions are set in a high-frequency heat-treating-condition setting part 2 based on the program in a computer 1. Then, a material to be treated A is sent to a heat treatment stage B and a checking stage C. The quality check of the material to be treated A is performed by using a non-destructive checking device 12 at the stage C. Identifying symbols are marked with an identifying symbol marking device 13. The data of the non-destructive check and the identifying symbols are stored in a computer 14. The pass or fail is judged based on the preset conditions. The good or defective products are sorted at a stage D through a treated product sorting device 15. The data stored in the computer 14 are printed out through a printer 16. The data are fed back to the computer 14 through a learning operator 17.</p>
