摘要：A burner for a vehicle heater of a particle filter regenerator comprising a combustion air blower (8), a combustion chamber (2) with a fuel evaporator (24), a fuel supply (6) with a fuel metering pump (56) by which the fuel is proportionately fed to the evaporator (24), a glow-plug (4) to ignite a mixture of combustion air and vaporised fuel and a control device (60), in which the control device (60) switches the glow-plug (4) on to ignite the mixture, starts the fuel metering pump (56) after a first period following the switch-on of the glow-plug (4) and substantially simultaneously with the starting of the fuel metering pump (56) or a second period thereafter initiates a gradual increase in the speed of the combustion gas blower (8) from a standstill or low speed rotation.
