摘要：1288328 Immunochemical products CORNING GLASS WORKS 25 Aug 1970 [4 Sept 1969] 40790/70 Heading A5B An insolubilized immunochemical product is obtained by coupling an antigen or antibody to an inorganic carrier material having available oxide or hydroxyl groups via an intermediate organosilicon coupling agent, the silicon portion of which is attached to the carrier and the organic portion of which is attached to the antigen or antibody. Suitable carrier materials are glass, silica, bentonite, nickel oxide, alumina and hydroxy apatite. Suitable silane coupling agents are compounds of the type: Y n SiR 4-n where Y is -NH 2 , -CO, -COOH, hydroxy phenyl or sulphhydryl, R is C 1-5 alkoxy, phenoxy, or halo and n is 1, 2 or 3. The antigenic material may be a serum protein, a bacterial antigen, a polysaccharide, a virus or a protein-hapten conjugate. The preferred antigenic material is the total antibody compliment of mammalian serum.
