摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance pull-out proofing strength between a joint main body and a pipe to a great extent, and thereby surely prevent the pipe from being pulled out because of impact by a water hammer and the like by screwing a fastening nut to a joint main body to which the pipe is inserted, and forming a toothed ring in such a way as to bite in the outer circumferential surface of the pipe. SOLUTION: When a vinyl chroride pipe 2 is connected in water supply pipelines and the like, the vinyl chroride pipe 2 is inserted in the inside of a joint main body 1 by a length as specified in a state that a fastening nut 4, a toothed ring 11 and an elastic ring are outwardly fitted in the vinyl chroride pipe 2 by way of a joint main body 1. Subsequently, when the fastening nut 4 is threadedly fastened with a male screw 3, the elastic ring 7 and the toothed ring 11 are pressed in the axial direction by the end face of the joint main body 1 and the end wall 6 of the fastening nut 4. In this case, the tip ends of the teeth 12 of the toothed ring 11 are brought into contact therewith with pressure in such a way as to be bit in the outer circumferential surface of the vinyl chroride pipe 2, and concurrently the aforesaid teeth are inclined to the direction reverse to the direction that the vinyl chroride pipe 2 is pulled out, so that the joint main body 1 can thereby be connected with the vinyl chroride pipe 2 with high pull-out strength provided.
