摘要：<p>A method for generating an individual protection of a data carrier, for example a magnetic tape cassette, against unauthorised use in a data processing device is described. The protection prevents a data processing program contained on the data carrier being used or copied without authorisation. For this purpose, a device-specific identification, for example a device serial number, is preferably automatically scanned and stored in the device by the manufacturer. As soon as a data carrier is inserted for the first time into the device, the latter writes the identification onto the data carrier. From this time on, the data carrier can only be accessed by means of this device.</p>
