摘要：A relay device (130) shares an arbitrary communication address, as a shared communication address, with another relay device. A storage unit (1312) stores, as the number of instances of address sharing, the number of address-sharing devices, which are other relay devices that share the shared communication address. A communication unit (1311) receives communication data sent from an address-sharing device and a device to be controlled. An address examination unit (1313) examines whether the transmission source address of the communication data received by the communication unit (1311) is a shared communication address. A counting unit (1314) counts the number of communication data items for which the transmission source address was determined by the address examination unit (1313) to be a shared communication address. A duplication determination unit (1315) compares the count value of the counting unit (1314) and the number of instances of address sharing stored by the storage unit (1312) to determine whether there is duplicate use of a shared communication address by a device to be controlled.
