摘要:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vein authentication device for allowing a user to easily understand the structure or operation of a device, and for reducing a feeling of resistance.
SOLUTION: The vein authentication device includes a near-infrared light source 4 for irradiating a finger 1 of a living body with near-infrared rays of light; and an image pickup device 7 for sensing the near-infrared rays of light transmitted through the finger 1 of the living body; and for imaging the vein pattern of the finger 1 of the living body. The vein authentication device includes a visible light source 3 for irradiating the finger 1 of the living body with visible rays of light to clearly showing a path of the near-infrared rays of light by the near-infrared light source 4. Furthermore, the vein authentication device includes a control device (CPU 11) for controlling only the near-infrared light source 4 to be turned on, and for controlling the visible light source 3 to be turned off at the moment of image pickup by the image pickup device 7.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
