摘要：<p>The panels are pref. drawn to >1% than their nominal size and are then opt. cut to nominal size. The alloy is pref. Al/Si eutectic with permanent modification. The casting temp is lower than normal e.g. 690 degrees C. The alloy is pref. melted rapidly before moulding in a pouring crucible and supplied therefrom by pressure of an inert gas e.g. N2 in an enclosure surrounding the crucible. There is low gas absorption and low oxide formation, resulting in satisfactory corrosion resistance, and low mould wear. The panels are used for cladding buildings.</p>
