摘要:PURPOSE:To estimate the carbonization temperature at which a coke was made with good accuracy and to utilize the result for the control of operating conditions, by deriving the correlation between the carbonization temperature and the hydrogen content of the volatiles remaining in a coke in advance, and determining the hydrogen content of the volatiles in a produced coke. CONSTITUTION:The correlation between the carbonization temperature and the hydrogen content of the volatiles remaining in a coke is derived in advance. On the basis of this correlation, the carbonization temperature at which a coal was carbonized to form a coke can be obtained from the result of determination of the hydrogen content of the volatiles remaining in the produced coke. The hydrogen content of the volatiles remaining in the coke is preferably obtained by converting from the moisture value determined by the Karl Fischer method.
