摘要：PURPOSE:To display the occurrence of abnormality, the number of abnormalities, and thier individual numbers easily without making a device large-sized, by constituting the device so that the number of a set abnormality flag out of abnormality flags is displayed. CONSTITUTION:First, the external input signal given to an input circuit 2 is written on a prescribed area of a memory 4. Next, a CPU5 executes a user program stored in a user program memory 1; and when an END instruction is detected, the CPU5 rewrites output data of the I/O memory 4 in accordance with execution results of respective instructions. If a fault diagnostic instruction set in the memory 1 is detected in course of this execution, all abnormality flags of a working memory 7 are set or reset. When set abnormality flags are detected, the number of them is counted in an error counter ERC of the memory 7, and a fault indication flag F is set. A fault indicator lamp is lit by this set flag F, and the counted value of the counter ERC and numbers of set abnormality flags are displayed.
