摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comprise a PWM cycloconverter and to allow connection of either of a three/single phase alternating current power source or a direct current power source as an emergency power source without requiring any external device. SOLUTION: Separately from an input power source phase detecting circuit 27 detecting a phase of the three-phase alternating current power source 1, an emergency power source phase detecting circuit 28 detecting a phase of an emergency power source is arranged. According to previously carried out setting, a phase detecting circuit switching setting apparatus 30 selects either of the phase information from the emergency power source phase detecting circuit 28 or the fixed phase information from a fixed phase information producing circuit 29. A phase detecting circuit switching apparatus 31 selects phase information from the input power source phase detecting circuit 27 in an ordinary operation time and selects phase information of respective emergency power sources from the phase detecting circuit switching setting apparatus 30 in the case of an abnormal condition of the power source.
