摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform print output and image file output in the range of optimum reading as to each irrespective of the difference of the aspect ratio between the print output and the image file output. SOLUTION: In an image processor which applies specified image processing to digital image data to make image data for print output and image data for image file output, the above problem is solved by deciding the magnification in printing at the time of above print output so that the print size selected from among a plurality of print sizes defined with longitudinal, and lateral sizes may inscribe the standard scan area being defined in advance with longitudinal and lateral file sizes for every kind of manuscripts, and also, deciding the magnification in digitization at the time of output of the above image file so that the image file size being defined in advance with the number of longitudinal and lateral picture element for ever kind of manuscripts may inscribe or circumscribe the above standard scan area.
