摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method or replacing the refrigerant of an existing refrigeration cycle device, in which the refrigerant of the conventional arts such as CFC, HCFC, or the like is used with a new refrigerant of the such as HFC which is deemed free of problems relating to environmental protection, with respect to cost and environment. SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of collecting the refrigerant of the prior art from the existing refrigeration cycle device, replacing a heat source unit A and an indoor unit B respectively with novel units for the novel refrigerant, connecting a cleaning unit E to a refrigerant circuit, after the heat source unit and the indoor unit have been replaced, forming a bypass passage F for bypassing the refrigerant to the indoor unit, executing vacuum evacuation in the state that the heat source unit is filled with the novel refrigerant, effecting cleaning operation for a specified time after filling the evacuated respective units with the novel refrigerant, executing a trial operation by using the novel refrigerant, in a state of the cleaning unit E and the bypass passage being closed, collecting the novel refrigerant in the cleaning unit E, separating the cleaning unit from the refrigerant circuit, and measuring the contamination of the refrigerating machine oil for the novel refrigerant of the heat source unit, after the operation has been executed for a specified time.
