摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature rise of a group of electrode plates by fitting a temperature sensor at the upper section or the terminal sections of an inter-cell connecting section. CONSTITUTION:Inter-cell connecting terminals 2, 2' on both sides of a battery jar bulkhead 1 are welded together at the portion 3 on the upper section of the bulkhead, the inter-cell connecting pot of a cover is filled with an adhesive 5 to maintain the liquid-tightness and air-tightness between cells. A temperature sensor 6 is stuck to the upper section of an inter-cell connecting section with an adhesive, and its terminals are connected to a rectifier via leads 7, 8. Since the terminal sections and the upper section of the inter-cell connecting section have the highest temperature rise in a battery, if the temperature sensor is fitted here, the battery temperature can be exactly sensed, thereby the battery deterioration due to the inflow of a large current caused by a failure of the rectifier, etc. can be prevented and reliability can be improved.
