摘要：A light medium system capable of mechanically and steplessly adjusting the light transmittance comprises a light-transmission body, an adjustable polarization light-transmission component (1), a motion and connection component (2), and an optional motion control component (3). Driven by a mechanical force of the motion and connection component (2), the light-transmission body and the adjustable polarization light-transmission component (1) implement, based on a small displacement, the stepless adjustment of the whole light transmittance between a high light transmittance and a low light transmittance. When the light medium system is in a highest light transmittance state, the system is consistent with common glass to a naked eye. The motion control component (3) can supply power to the motion and connection component (2) and carry out accurate electrical control so as to implement automatic and intelligent adjustment of the light transmittance of the light medium system according to a requirement or a program instruction. The light medium system has the advantages: the whole light transmittance can be steplessly adjusted, the costs are low, the light transmittance maintenance and adjustment do not consume energy, the system has a long service life because of mechanical type light adjustment and is easy to maintain, and no extra motion space is needed because of the small adjustment displacement; and the system is suitable for being used in a large scale in building windows, vehicle windows, curtain walls, protective spectacles as well as the agriculture and other fields.
