摘要:An equipment monitoring system is equipped with a control unit that switches the detection mode of a detector between a simple detection mode wherein the detector periodically performs a momentary detection operation, and a detailed detection mode wherein the detector performs a continuous detection operation. A diagnosis unit is configured so as to determine, on the basis of the result from the detector in the simple detection mode, whether the operating state of the equipment being monitored is the normal state or is a state requiring caution. The control unit is configured so as to maintain the simple detection mode when the diagnosis unit has determined in the simple detection mode that the operating state of the equipment being monitored is the normal state, and to switch the detector's detection mode from the simple detection mode to the detailed detection mode when the diagnosis unit has determined that the operating state of the equipment being monitored is a state requiring caution.
