摘要:<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric damper device for a vehicle which can improve riding comfort of a vehicle by optimally damping vertical motion of wheels, in which conversion to heat does not occur prematurely and which can always regenerate.SOLUTION: An electric damper device for a vehicle damps vertical motion by converting the relative vertical motion of wheels with respect to a vehicle body into rotational motion and making electric motors 35L and 35R rotate, and also the electric motors generate a damping force for damping the vertical motion of the wheels. The electric damper device for a vehicle has: a displacement speed detection unit for calculating displacement speed of wheels displacing in the vertical direction; a driving current setting unit for setting a target driving current of the electric motors based on the displacement speed; and motor driving units 106L and 106R for performing drive control of the electric motors based on the target driving current.</p>
