摘要：This invention addresses the problem of providing, without compromising the yield thereof, nonaqueous-electrolyte-solution secondary batteries that exhibit low initial irreversible capacity, high initial efficiency, and excellent high-temperature cycle characteristics. This nonaqueous electrolyte solution, which contains a nonaqueous solvent and an electrolyte dissolved therein and is used in a nonaqueous-electrolyte-solution secondary battery that also has a positive electrode that can store and release metal ions and a negative electrode that can also store and release metal ions, contains a compound that can be represented by general formula (1), said compound constituting between 0.01% and 4.5%, inclusive, of the total mass of the nonaqueous electrolyte solution. (In general formula (1), n represents an integer between 1 and 4, inclusive, and R1 through R3 represent prescribed groups.)
