摘要：A display can have a liquid crystal material layer between a color filter layer and a TFT layer. Column spacer structures are formed between the color filter layer and the TFT layer for maintaining desired separation between the color filter layer and the TFT layer. The column spacers can be adhered to column space areas of the color filter layer. The color filter layer can include rows of red, green, and blue color filter components. Blue color filter materials forming the blue color filter components in the color filter layer can be also used in forming a flat surface on the red and green color filter components in the column spacer areas. When the column spacers use a blue color filter material for flattening the surface formed on the reflection, the display assures that the column spacers provide enough support for a display without requiring an additional flattening layer.
