摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite parts that can be fabricated economically with high yields and high productivity by solving the problem of discontinuous fiber reinforcement-containing thermoplastic parts having high viscosity which limits a resin flow and causes difficulty in integrally forming part features.SOLUTION: A fiber reinforced thermoplastic part with integral fittings is compression molded. A slug 22 of pre-consolidated, fiber reinforced thermoplastic is heated until flowable and then injected into a mold 26 to form both the part and the fittings.
