摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold storage chamber capable of minimizing the temperature increase in a chiller during shutdown of a compressor as well as of preventing the start defect of the compressor.SOLUTION: A cold storage chamber of the embodiment comprises: the compressor for compressing a coolant; a condenser for condensing the compressed coolant for heat radiation; a first capillary tube for decompressing the coolant condensed in the condenser; the chiller for evaporating the coolant decompressed in the first capillary tube; a check valve provided in a coolant flow passage between the coolant outlet of the chiller and the compressor for preventing the backflow of the coolant towards the chiller; a change-over valve provided in a coolant flow passage between the condenser and the first capillary tube for switching-over the coolant flow passage as well as having a coolant adjusting mechanism for adjusting the flow rate of the coolant; and a by-pass piping for connecting between the change-over valve and the compressor inlet, in which during the shutdown of the compressor, the change-over valve is controlled such that the coolant is allowed to flow through the by-pass piping.
