摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminatively detect a train and a person only by light image processing and to allow the setting of detecting areas of the train and person in the same position. SOLUTION: A train presence determining part 102 computes the ratio STk/ SHk of the area STk of an extracted object region to the human body reference area SHk stored in a human body reference area table 103, corresponding to the position RGk of the object region extracted from an image by an object region extracting part 101. In the case the computed value is larger than a predetermined threshold value TH1, processing of adding points to a train presence evaluation point Sc1 is performed on the object extraction result of a fixed period from the present to the past, and the presence of the train in the image is determined when the accumulated value is sufficiently large.
