摘要：A method and apparatus for transferring a label is provided to prevent productivity efficiency and a freedom of design from being deteriorated by not halting the operation of a label carriage device whenever filling a label into a label magazine. A method and apparatus for transferring label comprises a step of separating one sheet of label from a few sheets of a label(L) placed on the lower part of a label magazine(4); and a step of carrying the one sheet of label by narrowly supporting a pair of shot edge facing to one sheet of label. The severable sheets of label are stacked on the label magazine. The label is separated from the lower part of the label magazine by a label draw out unit(50). The pair of short edges are carried by at least the pair of narrowly supporting device.
