摘要：The purpose of the present invention is to provide a flexible, light-weight organic electroluminescence element which has a flexible substrate using a metal layer or a metal foil and having excellent gas barrier properties, which improves light extraction efficiency by suppressing the occurrence of plasmon loss of the light resulting from specular reflection on the substrate and a metal electrode, and which reduces color shift by suppressing the cavity effect at specific wavelengths by utilizing diffuse reflection. This organic electroluminescence element is characterized in that a functional layer that includes at least a white pigment, a first transparent electrode, an organic light-emitting layer, a second transparent electrode, and a transparent sealing substrate are arranged in that order on a flexible substrate on which a metal layer or metal foil is laminated.
