摘要:Surface-emitting laser is used as a light source for short/middle distance communications and utilization in an optical connection, an optical sensor, and an optical communication is rapidly increased. Particularly, the necessity of the optical communication and the optical connection using a light source of various wavelengths like CWDM and DWDM is recently increased to transmit and process big data. Besides, Use in a 3D scan for detecting the defect of the surface and the feature analysis of a device of a wavelength feature using a wavelength control feature is increased. For an application like this, a continuous wavelength control without a discontinuous wavelength in a middle part and the wavelength control of the broadband like 100 nm are necessary. The present invention relates to the wideband tunable vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser in all wavelength regions capable of controlling the oscillation wavelength of the wideband by controlling a resonant distance using an air gap formed between a top mirror layer and an active layer after forming a dielectric mirror layer with a wide stop band on the top mirror layer and a bottom mirror layer. The present invention provides the wideband tunable vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser capable of performing the continuous control of the wideband.
