摘要：A gas sensor (100) has formed therein, by an inner protective cover (130), a gas flow path (127) that opens into a sensor element chamber (124) in which a gas introduction port (111) is disposed and that goes from the rear end side of the sensor element (110) toward the front end side thereof, and the gas flow path is formed along the flow path of object-of-measurement gas from a first outer gas hole (144a) formed in an outer protective cover (140) which covers the front of the sensor element (110) through the gas introduction port (111) of the sensor element (110). Also, an element side opening (129) is formed at a position at which the distance (A1) from the gas introduction port (111) is between -5mm to 1.5mm inclusive. Further, the inner protective cover (130) has a first member (131) and a second member (135), and the gas flow path (127) is formed to serve as a gap between the first member (131) and the second member (135).
