摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack that allows load to be reliably applied to fuel cells in a laminate direction with a compact and light-weight configuration.SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack 10 has a load applying mechanism 50. The load applying mechanism 50 has band members 52, coil springs 62, and holding blocks 58. The band members 52 are fixed at first ends thereof to an outer surface 16b of a first end plate 16. The band members 52 extend: first in a laminate direction along a first side portion of a laminate 14; next across an outer surface 18b of a second end plate 18; and then in the laminate direction along a second side portion of the laminate 14. The band members 52 are fixed at second ends thereof to the outer surface 16b of the first end plate 16. The coil springs 62 are engaged with the respective second ends of the band members 52, and are allowed to expand and contract along the outer surface 16b of the first end plate 16. The holding blocks 58 hold the respective coil springs 62 along the outer surface 16b of the first end plate 16.
